Paris Cathedral Kimono Robe

Designer: Zhiping Wang

Product Story
As we searched for a wedding photoshoot venue, we came across the magnificent Chartres Cathedral. Bathed in enchanting lights, we strolled along, yearning for freedom and wonder. Holding her hand, I was reminded of the profound history within this sacred place. In the 12th century, the first Virgin Mary statue emerged, marking a shift in French cathedrals‘ representation of God. As a designer, I captured this inspiration, envisioning the texture of the fabric gifted to the cathedral by Charles the Bald. The embodiment of femininity lies within the Church’s physical manifestation. To recreate this appreciation, we chose a kimono robe, symbolizing the fusion of human nature and the divine. The Chartres Blue echoes the cathedral‘s stained glass windows. Just as the Festival of Lights illuminates the Chapelle de Lumière, the Paris Cathedral Kimono Robe embraces art and longing. Immersed in the grandeur of Sainte-Reparate Cathedral, I infused its magic into the robe. The pattern design reflects the cathedral’s stained glass windows, showcasing vibrant charm. With its flowing silhouette and allure, the Charmeuse Cathedral robe reflects art, spirituality, and beauty. It invites individuals to embrace cathedral magic, where the tangible and ethereal unite. Envelop yourself in Chartres Cathedral‘s splendor, experiencing the connection of human creativity and spiritual transcendence. Let the robe be a vessel to celebrate the cathedral’s history and artistry, cherished and shared with the world.
